Mission Statement

Hello my name is Payton McVey and I am a Freshman at the University of Texas at Tyler and I am thrilled to welcome you to my website! The purpose of my personal website is to show my profession in writings I have completed through the course of English 1301 that I am currently in/finishing up right now, as well as all I have learned and the progression my writing has developed. Being in English 1301 I am able to share with you current, first hand experiences with you that are up to date in current times. Personal websites should be organized in a way that is easy for viewers to navigate and this is what I am hoping to accomplish with my menu as well as categories. Keeping my personal web page organized will show my credibility in the work/information posted on each page. Through my writings I have shown my leadership abilities that have been brought out at such a young age and will continue to help me in my lifetime as a nursing student and one day my nursing profession. Through this course I have also discovered the importance of this class and why it is required for freshmen to take and I too see the importance of this class through reading and writing that have been completed and will be posting. By posting these writings on my web page I hope you as well can discover the importance of English 1301. In this course we completed four major papers and in the end they all connected to one overall big picture that this web page helps me tie together and place all in one spot. I also learned the usefulness and great help peer review can do as well as how to be a good peer reviewer to help others. Through my work and experience I hope to encourage you!
